New Doha International Airport - Water Features

The New Doha International airport is certainly one of the most prestigious projects of the Studio ACPV, both for dimension and project complexity.
Each furnishing is thought as an art piece, above all the unique pieces located in the most exclusive areas, where each construction detail, is at a feasibility limit.
In that context three water features are placed with playing water, each one with a different shape and different material: the oval one of 6 meters in mirror polished stainless steel with hand hammered parts, the round one of 8 meters in polished stainless steel placed closed to mirror polished bronze, the smaller one in stainless steel and corian. The reflections of polished metal, part handmade with craftmanship technical details, merge with the water veils in a light movement, fallen streams and some delicate jets.
These precious objects, minimal only to the appearance, hide complex geometries in which the different concavities of the surfaces and the perimeter inclinations create an unusual vision.
